JOB SUMMARY:

The purpose of the position is to perform a variety of professional duties instructing the public in the parks and recreation department for the County. This position aids to organize, execute and manage designated programs and events. The position requires extensive public contact with participants, which may include children, youth, adults and senior citizens. The position works under the Director of Haywood County Recreation & Parks and is reviewed through periodic conferences. The position is subject to hazards in parks and recreation work including both inside and outside environments, noises, and atmospheric conditions.
