Role Description
Salaried Position-Monday-Thursday, 4:30pm-8:00am.
This is a full-time Registered Nurse role based in Waynesville, NC & Asheville, NC. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing direct patient care, assessing and monitoring patients' conditions, collaborating with healthcare professionals, administering medications, and educating patients and their families on treatment plans and symptom management. This is a hybrid role, allowing for some remote work.
Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse license
- Experience in providing direct patient care and managing patient symptoms
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Knowledge of hospice and palliative care principles and practices
- Experience with electronic medical records systems
- Compassionate and empathetic nature
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree is preferred
