Hazen and Sawyer, a premier environmental engineering firm, is seeking a candidate to be involved with management of water pipeline infrastructure projects, including the design of large diameter pipelines [greater than 24”] and transmission systems. This candidate will join our Boston, MA, Manchester, NH or Wethersfield, CT office. Responsibilities include working on and leading a design team from initial studies and design through construction. Candidate will supervise junior staff, and be responsible for design tasks commensurate with experience. Position will lead to increasing levels of client development and management, supported by our local office and Corporate headquarters. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential. Minimum professional qualifications are: a Bachelor’s Degree in civil/environmental engineering or a related field, and a PE license or the ability to obtain one within six months. Desired experience is 10-15 years in the water field. Preferred qualifications include a Master’s Degree in environmental engineering, background in business development, and significant experience with public utilities.
