- Manage and coordinate maintenance activities or operations on assigned shifts or multiple shifts within a single operations department.
- Supervise production or maintenance activities and assist operators with troubleshooting and problem resolution.
- Communicate effectively and instruct on company methods, practices, and programs.
- Handle personnel matters, including training, development, discipline, and safety programs for direct reports.
- Direct activities of employees to ensure maintenance, service, or production functions meet established timing, quality, and cost standards.
- Monitor performance indicators and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Supervise maintenance technicians, provide daily safety contacts, and manage a portion of a $20 million maintenance budget.
- Ensure environmental compliance and develop a maintenance strategy to enhance equipment reliability.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 3 years of mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- 2 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (engineering) or a non-technical field (business management).
- 5 years of experience working in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
