Dynamic Shift Manager - Steelmaking/Caster Maintenance Opportunity
Join our global team at our Steelmaking/Caster department and be a key player in producing steel for a wide range of everyday products. In this role, you will oversee maintenance operations to support steelmaking and caster production, as well as plant-wide targets.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical and electrical technicians to ensure maintenance, safety, and environmental activities align with steelmaking production goals.
• Guide the team in achieving safety, delay, preventive, and predictive maintenance objectives.
• Demonstrate expertise in maintaining industrial machinery.
• Manage administrative tasks including crew scheduling, report generation, safety meetings, and other necessary documentation.
• Drive continuous improvement and standardization in maintenance programs and procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering coupled with 3-5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing maintenance (preferred) OR over 10 years of experience in a maintenance supervisory role.
• Industrial/manufacturing mechanical & electrical maintenance background is essential.
• Proficiency in AC/DC motor control, drive packages, PLCs, troubleshooting, and team leadership.
• Familiarity with hydraulics, water systems, print reading, machine shop math, and computer-based maintenance systems.
• Strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to occasionally lift more than 25 pounds and perform physical tasks as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a unionized environment is advantageous.
