Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and close Strategic, Developmental, and CAPEX projects.
- Ensure plant safety practices are enforced.
- Implement investment plans in line with corporate regulations, focusing on efficiency and competitiveness.
- Manage projects to ensure they are on time, on budget, and functional.
- Collaborate with various teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify and justify new projects in coordination with production units.
- Work closely with financial and project analysts to provide necessary financial calculations and updates.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for equipment and services procurement.
- Adhere to corporate standards for file storage and drawings.
- Ensure compliance with laws and regulations, including OSHA and EPA/DEP.
- Attend and actively participate in required meetings.
- Follow company policies outlined in the Policies & Procedures for Salaried Employees Manual.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
- Proficiency in steel manufacturing processes and/or heavy industrial equipment.
- Minimum of 5 years of Engineering experience in steel manufacturing or heavy industry.
- Minimum of 5 years of Project Management experience.
- Ability to collaborate across production, maintenance, engineering, and procurement teams.
- Experience working in an international, multilingual company.
- Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and file management.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Vision.
