JOB FUNCTION / SUMMARY: The Leadership Development Specialist designs and delivers training and development programs for managers and associates. This position consults with management to identify the leadership, professional development, and skill building needs of our associates. It provides practical and creative recommendations for delivering comprehensive development solutions that are tied to our business strategies. The Specialist designs and delivers development programs, tools, and content across multiple platforms, including classroom training, e-learning, blended learning, and webinars. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Participates in the needs assessment, development, facilitation, continuous improvement, and management of professional and leadership development programs. Creates, prepares, and facilitates training courses, to include coordination of training calendar with instructor led, web-based, or online delivery and/or other associate development interventions. Facilitates team building workshops, exercises, or programs to enhance the cohesiveness of teams including delivery of programs and assessments that measure and target improving associate engagement. Partners with other areas of Human Resources as needed to support initiatives and programs targeting the growth, development, and engagement of associates. Recommends tools and methodology to enhance organizational ability to identify and respond to associate development needs. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required 3-5 years experience designing, developing, and delivering curriculum, preferably in a leadership development or related discipline 3 years management experience preferred 3- 5 years banking experience preferred Experience designing, developing and delivering leadership development curriculum in a corporate environment preferred Ability to adapt, quickly earn trust, deal effectively with ambiguity, think systemically and objectively to influence clients and colleagues Strong business acumen including problem solving, critical thinking and collaboration across multiple functions and departments Demonstrated project management skills with attention to detail Ability to work independently, lead teams and work as part of a team (including cross-functional teams) Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite ESSENTIAL MENTAL & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines Ability to travel Ability to lift/move/carry approximately 30 pounds if required to perform the essential job functions.
