That's where you come in. The People Operations Coordinator is involved in a wide range of support activities from full-cycle recruiting to being a culture champion and conducting new hire orientation.
We are looking for someone who has excellent organizational ability, familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATSs), great interpersonal skills and strong communication skills. You should be able to work autonomously and remain calm under pressure. Ultimately, you'll ensure our People Operations department is organized and operates smoothly to attract, hire, and retain our employees.
What you'll do: THIS POSITION IS 100% IN-OFFICE IN JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA. - Manage the full-cycle recruiting process including communication with candidates, conducting phone screenings, updating hiring managers, initiating assessments, background checks, and on-boarding
- Become the super-user of our ATS (Pinpoint), maximizing the value of this recruiting tool to make our hiring process more efficient
- Educate hiring managers on the use of our ATS as necessary
- Represent the company at career fairs as needed
- Plan and execute employee events that are in-line with our employee-centric culture
- Conduct initial orientation to newly-hired employees
- Complete new hire I-9 documents and E-Verify certification, ensuring the company is in compliance with these requirements
- Answer employee inquiries as needed regarding benefits and People Operations policies
To do well in this role you'll need to: - Meet the following requirements:
- Associate's degree in human resources or related field, or equivalent, relevant experience;
- Minimum 2 years' experience in recruiting;
- Concrete understanding and appreciation of how to handle & protect confidential information;
- Basic knowledge of labor laws.

- Have above-average computer literacy. We'll train you on the specific platforms we use. You'll need to have familiarity with ATSs and HRISs and proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
- Be incredibly organized. Especially due to the prior two points, you'll need to be able to access and refer to what you've learned.
- Have great written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail . You'll need to interface with applicants and employees in a cordial manner both in writing or verbally on the phone. Your interaction will in large part determine how candidates and employees views the company.
