Job Summary:HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital is seeking Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physicians to join our team, located along the beautiful Treasure Coast of Florida.
Qualified Candidates:
- Candidates must be board certified or board eligible in Pediatric Emergency Medicine (PEM)
- Must have Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Must have completed an PEM Residency and board certified within 5 years.
- IC-1099 contractor status (malpractice with tail covered)
- Highest paid rates in South FL
- Very generous bonus package
- No floor code or consult responsibilities
- Level II Trauma Center
- 61,000 annual patient visits in Main ED and 16,000 in Peds ED
- 3 trauma bays, including 1 pediatric
- 2.0 pph
- 70 hours total of physician coverage (main ED and Peds ED incl)
- 60 hours of APP coverage
- EMR is Meditech, Pdoc and dragon dictation
- Code ice facility with theraputic hypothermia capability
- Several dedicated ED glide scopes and US machines
- 24 hour inhouse Hospitalist and Intensivists
- 380-bed acute care teaching hospital with a Level II Trauma Center
- State-of-the-art Patient Tower
- Level III NICU
- Certified Primary Stroke Center
- Five-Start Recipient for the Treatment of Heart Attack by Healthgrades
- Pediatric Intensive Care Unit
- Comprehensive Stroke Center Accredited by The Joint Commission and designated as a Top Performer
- Holds the only CARF Accreditation on the Treasure Coast
