Assesses patients, assist the Radiologist in performing fluoroscopic procedures, prepares films for interpretation, maintains patients and departmental records, supplies and equipment. Performs other related duties. Additional InformationQualifications/Requirements Education Graduate of a Radiologic Technology Program Required licensures/certifications ARRT registered in good standing Current State of Florida LicenseCurrent BLS CertificationSkills and AbilitiesExcellent Customer Service Skills in order to project a positive image of the department and hospital. Experience Must have a good working knowledge of anatomy, understand principles of physics, electricity, and methods of exposure to obtain clearly defined radiographs; and be able to set up and operate all types of equipment that will be used in a modern Radiology Department. Must know how to process radiographs. Should have sufficient knowledge of psychology, patient care, and sterile technique to deal with all types of conditions of patients.
