Right at Home of Norfolk, Nebraska is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and empathetic individual that enjoys improving the quality of life for others. Main duties may include meal preparation, helping with any light duty chores, assistance getting out of bed, assistance showering, assistance toileting, helping with laundry, and assisting with other activities of daily living as needed. The largest responsibility of this job is to provide companionship and great company during these trying times!
This position requires someone to have strong communication skills and to be extremely reliable. If you are a hardworking, dependable person who sees themselves as client-focused, we want to work with YOU!

Times: Mornings 6am-10am. Evenings 7pm-11m.
Days: Sunday through Saturday (Could do Monday-Friday or Weekends only)

Essential Functions
Provides companionship for the client, accompanying them to an appointment, on a walk, trips to social/recreational activities, assistance with hobbies, etc.
Light housekeeping- vacuuming, dusting sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning. Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions. May shop for groceries. Provides supervision of safety for all activities of daily living, for example, bathing, dressing transfers, and ambulation.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
Reliable transportation
Valid drivers license
Valid automobile insurance
Authorization to work in the United States
Ability to demonstrate an excellent work ethic
