Responsibilities: The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant assists the Occupational Therapist in direct patient care and treatment in the inpatient and outpatient settings. The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant assists the department manager with general policy and procedures carried out in the department. The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant provides supervision to students and other unlicensed personnel. Supervision and delegation of tasks as defined per the Ohio Occupational Therapy Practice Act to the following individuals: Unlicensed personnel and student Occupational Therapy Assistants.
Qualifications: Associate degree, current Ohio Occupational Therapy Assistant license and BLS is required. Prior work experience as a COTA in an inpatient and outpatient setting is preferred.
