Duties & Responsibilities
• To provide End to End Hands and Feet support.
• Install and maintain servers and network devices and other data center equipment
• Racking, stacking, and cabling of network devices, servers and blade enclosures and other data center appliances
• Replacement of parts like power supplies, switch modules, replacement of blade in chassis
• Assist with hardware troubleshooting
• Support data center management teams located remotely with maintenance activities by providing hands and feet support
• Implement data center management best practices
• Experience with consoles, KVM, Remote Site gateways etc.
• Prepare and maintain data center inventory
• Create and maintain rack elevation diagrams
• Escort and assist third party engineers coming into the data center
• Experience in using ticketing systems
• Daily walk through and reporting on any abnormalities observed.
