Director of Infection Control and Education

Compensation: $120K - $135K $15K Longevity Bonus

Job Type: Full-time, in-person position, Day Shift, Monday - Friday

Collaborating with a Long Term Care/Rehabilitation facility in Arverne, NY that is seeking a Director of Infection Control and Education

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for Infection Control throughout the facility
• Provision of educational and development training services to enhance specialized patient care within established clinical protocols.
• Collaboration with patient care staff and unit management in the planning, implementation, and delivery of educational curricula.
• Initiation of clinical skills development programs within the parameters of established clinical and preceptorship models

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Valid RN license in New York State
• 1 years Long-term care experience required
• 3 years nursing experience required
• Infection control knowledge and previous educator experience
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
