HDG Hotels is Hiring an Engagement Coordinator Near Ocala, FL

Reports To: V.P of People and Culture

SUMMARY:

To maintain positive relationships with team members and leadership while providing administrative support to the Office of People and Culture in accordance with the HDG vision, mission, and core values. Ensuring there are policies and practices at work within HDG that help us build an engaged organization – an organization of team members who truly feel onboard.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES (other duties as assigned in line with position summary):

  • Facilitate and host training sessions (orientations, workshops)
  • Assist the Office of People and Culture with engagement events
  • Create, organize, and update personnel files
  • Run payroll reports as needed
  • Performance review tracking (GMs, ODs, and Corporate Office)
  • Risk and safety monitoring and compliance (e.g., OSHA logs, trainings, workers compensation process)
  • Maintains the policy and procedures manual for the Office of People and Culture
  • Maintains People & Culture SOE tracking
  • Assist with annual Operational Audits
  • Assist with onboarding of hotels and acquisitions
  • Oversight of community outreach

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

Two years/Associates’ degree; or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

COMPUTER SKILLS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of: Internet Software; Spreadsheet Software (Excel); Word Processing Software (Word); Electronic Mail Software (Outlook); Presentation software (PowerPoint).

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
