Job Description: This is a full-time, on-site role as a Concessions Director at Headline Inc. located in Denver, Colorado. As a Concessions Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the food and beverage operations at festivals and events. Your duties will include managing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, developing relationships with sponsors and distributors, managing inventory, maintaining budgets, and analyzing sales data. Additionally, you will be responsible for hiring, scheduling, and training employees, working with non-profit organizations in pulling liquor permits through the state, and becoming a TIPS certified instructor to conduct classes for bartenders.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the food and beverage operations at festivals and events, ensuring a high standard of service, quality, and speed.
  • Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and maintaining accurate records.
  • Hire, train, and schedule staff to ensure optimal performance and coverage.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with sponsors and distributors to enhance service offerings and secure favorable terms.
  • Create and manage budgets, ensuring financial efficiency and cost control.
  • Analyze historical sales data to inform decisions on inventory, staffing, and pricing strategies.
  • Set competitive and profitable drink prices based on data analysis and market trends.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Conduct regular staff training sessions, including TIPS certification classes for bartenders.
  • Work with non-profit organizations to secure and manage liquor permits through the state.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and address any issues promptly and effectively.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Provide detailed reports on operations, including financial performance and inventory levels.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in food service and food & beverage management.
  • Strong customer service skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality experiences.
  • Experience in training and supervising staff.
  • Ability to create and manage budgets effectively.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and compliance.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., ServSafe) preferred.
  • TIPS certification required; willingness to become a TIPS certified instructor is mandatory.
