As an entry-level Automotive Technician (Oil Change Technician) you will quickly and efficiently perform routine maintenance and identify the cause of breakdowns and repair them using the most optimal solutions. Candidates with strong attention to detail and a customer-centric approach are encouraged to apply for this dynamic role with ample growth potential.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform general express technician services as needed
- Diagnose, repair and maintain vehicle automotive systems including flushes, oil changes, etc.
- Provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs
- Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs to service advisors and customers
- Learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions to keep up with rapidly changing technology
Qualifications
- Adhere to the company’s uniform policy
- Auto repair experience preferred but not required
- Dealership service department experience preferred but not required
- Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
- Working knowledge of shop equipment
- Must provide own tools
- Must have a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including, weekends and holidays
