Heads Up Technologies is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse and Shipping Supervisor to join our Operations Leadership Team. The Warehouse and Shipping Supervisor will play a critical role in overseeing all aspects of shipping, receiving, and the warehouse, including the training and development of Warehouse Associates. Key Details:
•Work Days and Hours: Our normal working hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday-Friday with an unpaid 30-minute lunch. Employees can work with their supervisor to have some flexibility in their schedule.
•Location: This is a full-time onsite position located in Addison, TX.
•Compensation: $25-$28/hour based on experience and comprehensive benefits package.
•Work Eligibility: Must be authorized to work in the United States.

What you'll do

• Properly maintain warehouse organization to ensure all materials are inventoried, accessible, countable, and identifiable.
• Develop and adopt procedures and make suggestions regarding procedures, standards, and equipment to facilitate more safe and efficient work.
• Provide employees with the necessary tools, proper training, and corrective direction.
• Lead Cycle Count Program. Review and document inventory count to ensure accuracy within the warehouse.
• Complete auditable records: pick lists, work orders, cycle count worksheets, adjustment forms.
• Deliver materials to value streams (manufacturing cells) when needed.
• Complete all required safety trainings, follow safety policies, and demonstrate proper safety protocols at all times.
• Oversee shipping including ordering and maintaining shipping supplies.
• Oversee receiving ensuring deliveries are received and forwarded to stock in a timely manner.
• Flex labor between the warehouse, receiving, and shipping as required.
• Must possess a roll-up your sleeves attitude to pitch in and help the warehousing team get the job done.
• The Warehouse and Shipping Supervisor will need to be cross trained in all aspects of their team's activities.

What will make you successful in this role (skills)
Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Warehouse experience.
• Leadership experience in leading teams of people.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and materials resource planning software (MRP).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment.
• Excellent attendance is crucial for the team to achieve success.
• Open availability to support overtime needs as required. This is a one shift operation currently.
• Adhere to HUT standards and responsibilities, including policy compliance, quality standards, safety, and efficiency goals.
• Ability to thrive in a high-mix and fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Must be a self-starter, able to adapt and prioritize in a rapidly growing and changing environment
• Ability to perform repetitive duties, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods of time.
• Must be able to handle materials weighing up to 40 lbs.

Preferred:

• Experience managing direct reports and engaging in employee development.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
