HeadwayWorkforce Solutions is currently seeking bilingual English and Farsi-speaking FieldInterviewers on behalf of our client in the Seattle/Everett, WA, area.Applicants within an approximate 50-mile radius of this location may beconsidered. As a Field Interviewer, you will conduct interviews supporting the BuildingEvidence on Employment Strategies (BEES) evaluation study, which provides employmentservices for individuals who have received treatment for substance use disorder(SUD) and are seeking to reenter the workforce.

This is apart-time position and applicants must be available at least 10 to 15 hoursper week or more based on availability of work, and the project will continueuntil early 2026. Applicants must be available to work a combination of daytime,evenings, and weekends when Respondents will be available and must be availableto attend remote project training. A tablet, keyboard and phone will beprovided and is for use only on this assignment. The compensation for thisposition is based on your location and follows the Service Contract Act (SCA)rates. The SCA Rate for King County is $25.15 per hour, plus a $4.60 per hour Health &Welfare stipend.

Responsibilitiesof a Field Interviewer:

• Follow all project specifications andprotocols
• Conduct computer-based interviews by phone andin-person with a high degree of accuracy and integrity
• Conduct locating activities online andin-person when Respondents are difficult to reach
• Regularly report to assigned Field Manager
• Exercise courtesy and professionalism to allRespondents
• Maintain confidentiality of all collected data
• Other duties as assigned by manager

Requirements of a Field Interviewer

• High School Diploma or the equivalent
• Good working knowledge of computers and strongtyping skills
• Must have home wireless internet
• Must have a private space to conductinterviews
• Must have own reliable vehicle and insurance
• This position requires candidates to consentto the performance of a background check

Qualificationsof a Field Interviewer

• Two years of experience interviewing or incustomer service
• Bilingual English and Farsi fluency requiredfor this position
• Exceptional reading, verbal, and listeningskills with the ability to multi-task
• The ability to speak with Respondents using atablet and keyboard to record responses
• Willingness to work in-person to locateselected households/Respondents and schedule appointments and conductinterviews adults and children when they cannot be completed by phone
• Courteous with good communication skills and“people” skills
• Positive and self-motivated demeanor
• Prior Field Research/Interviewing experience aplus

AdditionalInformation:

• Hours andTraining
• Must be available at least 10 to 15 hours perweek – including some daytime and some evening hours during the week as well ason weekends when Respondents may be available
• Project training is paid and will consist ofapproximately 8 hours of computer self-study at home, as well as up to 3 daysof group training sessions conducted remotely shortly after hire in July.
• Respondent compensation: As a “thank you” fortheir participation and completing the approximately 30-minute interview,Respondents will receive a $35 Visa gift card.
