Job Description

Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Med Tech- Long Term Care to work at a facility in Canistota , SD. These are registry positions with our company.

Days or nights : Days

Shift : 6 : 00am - 2 : 30pm, M- F

Pay Per Hour : $27.50

Common responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

• Collecting and preparing blood, urine, and tissue samples for analysis.
• Examining collected samples and identifying any cell abnormalities.
• Maintaining laboratory inventory levels and, if necessary, placing orders for new supplies.
• Preparing detailed reports about your test results and findings.
• Documenting and reviewing the tested data.
• Ensuring that all tissue samples are prepped for examination.
• Collaborating with pathologists and other medical specialists to determine the correct diagnosis if cell abnormalities are discovered.
• Maintaining a safe and clean working environment by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
• Presenting test results to physicians, researchers, and / or patients.

Requirements :

• The requirements are : At least one year (12 months) of experience as a Med Tech.
• Certificate to work as a medical technician.
• Advanced knowledge of biology and chemistry.
• Proven experience working with various medical equipment and tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Outstanding presentation and analytical abilities.
