With licensed and Medicare-certified agencies in Palm City, Florida and Boynton Beach, Florida, we serve Broward, Indian River, Martin, Palm Beach, and St. Lucie County.
Role Description
This is for a Per Diem Registered Nurse with Home Health Experience. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to patients in their homes. The day-to-day tasks of the role include conducting assessments, administering medications, performing wound care, monitoring vital signs, and educating patients and their families on healthcare management. Must be available one weekend a month.
Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Experience in providing in-home healthcare services
- Knowledge and proficiency in medical procedures and techniques
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Compassion and empathy towards patients and their families
- Current CPR certification
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Bilingual proficiency, particularly in Spanish, is a plus
- Criminal Background Screening and Drug Testing
- Authorized to work
- Valid Driver’s License
