Job SummaryThis position is responsible for creating and managing project plans, including schedule, and scope for large, complex projects with minimal oversight; and managing internal resources across program departments for delivery of products or services to internal and external entities, i.e. employer groups, brokers, consultants.1. Create and manage project plans, including schedule and scope for projects with minimal oversight. Project may be internal to the division as well as projects spanning multiple divisions.
2. Create and maintain associated project deliverables including project goals, objectives and scope, success criteria, assumptions, constraints, roles and responsibilities, project organization chart, communication, risk and issues management procedures, testing approach and change management.
3. Manage resource planning, ensure quality of project deliverables.
4. Gather and document business requirements. Manage the creation of test plans to ensure requirements are met.
5. Manage project teams, discuss/resolve issues and risks, and elevate unresolved issues to senior management for resolution.
6. Regular reporting of project status.
7. Identify critical milestones and dependencies; perform task and issue follow-up including contacting project team members for task and issues status, communicating potential conflicts and issues to senior management, and updating appropriate issue logs and project plans.
8. Develop and maintain thorough understanding of the division to strengthen ability to improve outcome of projects.
9. Communicate and interact effectively and professionally, in-person and virtually, with co-workers, management, customers, etc. as a part of a cross-functional team.
10. Comply with HIPAA, Diversity Principles, Corporate Integrity, Compliance Program policies and other applicable corporate and departmental policies.
11. Maintain complete confidentiality of company business.
12. Maintain communication with management regarding development within areas of assigned responsibilities and perform special projects as required or requested.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor Degree or 4 years experience working in a position which requires independent decision making
* 4 years of combined experience working in a position which requires experience gathering and documenting business requirements and team leadership with program management.
* Experience working a dynamic work environment and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
* Analytical skills, detail oriented, interpersonal and organizational skills.
* Verbal and written communication skills.
* PC proficiency to include Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor degree in Business or Healthcare.
* Analytical skills.
* Risk management experience.
* PMP Certification.
* Knowledge of project/program management best practices.
* Experience and knowledge of Learning and Development and the Health Care Industry.
