Job Summary

Responsible For Promoting A Culture In Which The Voices Representing People With Lived Mental Health And Substance Use Experiences And Recovery Become Part Of The Institution.

Serving As A Mentor / Role Model Demonstrating Competency In Recovery, Effective Coping Skills And Self-Help Strategies.

The CARA Recovery Support Worker will focus on supporting the recovery efforts of parents of members referred to the CARA program.

JOB REQUIREMENTS : *High school Diploma or GED. *Peer Support Specialist certification. *Valid State’s Driver’s License. *Current or past consumer of mental health or co-occurring behavioral health services.

2 years success within personal recovery model.*Ability to utilize individual and group skills.*Knowledge of local community behavioral health services.
