The Health Center at Franklin Park , an American Baptist Homes of the Midwest community, is looking to hire a Medical Records Worker (HIM | RHIT).

• Pay starts from $20-$23 based on experience
• This is a full-time day shift position

As a Medical Records Worker at Franklin Park, you will work on and help maintain medical records and health information for our residents. Your duties will include collecting, coding, indexing, and filing/retrieving medical records. You may also assist with preparing 48-hour records and face sheets for new admissions, discharges, hospital summaries; release of information forms; scanning of documents in PCC (Point Click Care), and other tasks as directed by your department manager.
What you will need:

• Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) certification preferred
• Graduate of an approved course for medical records technicians preferred
• Experience with ICD-10/CPT coding preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred
• Long Term Care experience preferred
• Point Click Care (PCC) experience preferred
