Health Center, Inc. is seeking a qualified professional to join our team.
The IT Assets Manager is responsible for overseeing the lifecycle of IT assets within the organization. This includes managing procurement, deployment, maintenance, and disposal of hardware and software assets. The role ensures that all IT assets are tracked, accounted for, and optimized to support the organization's operations while adhering to compliance and budgetary constraints.
Position Qualifications:
Oversee the entire lifecycle of IT assets from acquisition through disposal.
Develop and implement policies and procedures for asset management.
Ensure proper documentation and tracking of asset inventory.
Coordinate with vendors and procurement teams to acquire IT assets.
Manage asset deployment processes, ensuring timely and accurate distribution.
Maintain inventory records, including hardware, software, and licenses.
Ensure compliance with licensing agreements, vendor contracts, and regulatory requirements.
Conduct regular audits to verify asset inventory and compliance.
Prepare and present reports on asset utilization, cost, and compliance status.
Monitor and analyze asset usage to identify opportunities for cost savings.
Manage asset contracts, warranties, and service agreements.
Develop and maintain asset forecasting and budgeting plans.
Provide support to IT staff and end-users regarding asset-related issues.
Collaborate with IT departments and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Manage asset-related incidents and service requests.
Oversee the secure disposal of outdated or non-functional IT assets.
Ensure proper recycling and data sanitization procedures are followed.
Experience with Manage Engine or other IT endpoint management and/or assets/procurement systems
Understanding of hardware specifications and requirements within a health care environment
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
Proven experience in IT asset management or a similar role.
Experience with asset management tools and systems.
Familiarity with ITIL or other asset management frameworks is a plus.
ITAM certification (nice to have but not required)
Working Conditions:
Walking, sitting, standing for moderate periods of time
Lifting of equipment up to 35lbs
Requires regular deployment to health centers
Benefits:
Competitive base salary ($97,000-$120,000)
