Accountabilities
- Provides direct and indirect clinical/therapy services to patients and families covering a broad range of standard practice modalities and theories, biopsychosocial assessments, diagnostic determinations, individual, group, and family therapy, aftercare services.
- Participates in the planning, development, and implementation of the therapeutic program, including strategies for quality improvement, patient satisfaction, regulatory adherence, and associated policies, processes, chart audits.
- Develops an individualized treatment plan including measurable treatment goals related to patient's presenting problems. Participates as an active member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team.
- Performs case management responsibilities involved with patient care. This includes, but is not limited to, Utilization Review, Discharge Planning, Family Involvement/Education, timely and appropriate documentation as needed.
- Serves as team lead and operates as a resource to staff. Supervises graduate students as field instructor/site supervisor.
Minimum Requirements
- Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or related human services field.
- 3 years of experience providing direct counseling care in a behavioral care setting (hospital or community agency setting preferred).

Other Required Skills And Experience
- Group, individual, and family therapy skills, psychiatric problem solving abilities, assessment skills, treatment planning skills.
- Oral and written communication skills; interpersonal skills across multiple professions/disciplines.
- Basic knowledge of computer software and utilization of electronic medical record.
