Description

Hospice of the Piedmont is currently seeking a full-time Clinical Services Manager for our Center for Acute Hospice Care. This position will help provide leadership over the Center providing clinical and professional management. This position will partner with clinical and physician leadership in coordinating the interdisciplinary care of patients with advanced progressive illness in a ten (10) bed hospice inpatient unit. 

Requirements

Duties include but are not limited to, managing of patient care to the highest professional standard ensuring physical, psychological, social, spiritual and cultural needs of patients and families are met; collaborate with members of the IDG to ensure high quality holistic care is provided; ensuring compliance with all regulatory bodies and keeping up-to-date with changing polices, practices and innovations within hospice care; provide high level of clinical leadership; display sound knowledge of holistic management of pain and symptoms of advanced illness. 

This position requires a valid license as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia and a minimum of 2 years relevant hospice/home health clinical and/or clinical management experience. A demonstrated knowledge of EMR systems; ability to manage multiple tasks, flexible and ability to handle stressful situations with a calm demeanor.
