Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Director of PET/CT for the Nuclear Medicine department at Jacobi Medical Center/North Central Bronx Hospital. The Hospitals are part of the?NYC Health Hospitals System (NYCHHC). Jacobi is a 457-bed, Level I Trauma Center and NCB has 213 licensed beds. The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with Albert Einstein Medical College to maintain its high healthcare delivery standards. Opportunity DetailsCurrently looking to hire a Director/PET/CT for Nuclear Medicine. We are a city hospital within a network in NYC. Medium size Radiology Department, but Nuclear Medicine functions mostly independent
Daily clinical duties including diagnostic, general, and cardiac imaging and radiopeptide therapies
Teaching of radiology residents
Participate in modifying old and writing new protocols
Outpatient clinic to counsel upcoming therapy patients and families on radiation safety
Launch new imaging and therapeutic modalities
No calls after hours or on weekends
Qualifications
ABNM certification
Nuclear Cardiology certification is desired
CT interpretation certificates helpful
NYS Medical License
