ScionHealth - Community Care Hospital Division is seeking a per diem / prn nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a per diem / prn nursing job in Lander, Wyoming.
Job Description & Requirements
The Scrub RN is responsible for selection and handling of instrumentation and supplies during the surgical procedure. The registered scrub nurse will maintain a sterile field and accountability of the sterile environment at all times. The scrub RN is responsible to ensure accurate counts, order and knowledge of the sterile environment. The registered nurse cannot place or move retractors and/or suture without additional training and competency.
The registered nurse will maintain competency in surgical nursing care.
QualificationsRequired Licenses:
Must have current and valid Wyoming RN License or compact equivalent
CertificationCurrent BLS ACLS certification within 90 days of hire or transfer to department. PALS certification within 90 days of hire or transfer to department
Minimum Work Experience2 years Surgical Services experience preferred.
