Job Description & Requirements
- Specialty: ED - Emergency Department

- 36 hours per week
- Shift: 12 hours, nights
- Employment Type: Travel
Emergency Room Travel RN
- Demonstrate accurate assessment skills, appropriate to the age of the patient.
- Perform and document ongoing assessments, tests, and patient response to procedural intervention.
- Participate in coordination and education of patient needs with patient care team, family, and patient.
- Implement and revise plan of care according to patient’s status.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered to assigned patients.
- Flexibility to travel to the assignment location.
- Availability to work the facility’s required schedule.
- Willingness to complete onboarding items in a timely manner.
- Ability to quickly adapt to new environments and strive for the highest quality of patient care.
- Also referred to as: ED nurse, ER nurse, emergency room nurse, or emergency department nurse.
- 2 years of experience as a Emergency Department (ER) nurse
- Graduate from an accredited nursing school
- Current state specific RN license in good standing, or if applicable, a compact state RN license in good standing
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- May require PALS certification; MAB certification; TNCC
