- BLS - Basic Life Support
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support
- Tech Cert Verification - National
- HIPAA Safety Manual Acknowledgement
- State License 1 Verification
- NURSYS Verification (RN, LPN/LVN, AP)
- Position / Specialty: Med Surg RN - Urology/Nephrology.
- Years of experience REQ: Minimum 2 years' experience required.
- Weekend REQ: Will work every other weekend
- Is on-call REQ? No.
- Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Yes – will float to other Medical Surgical units
- Open to accommodating block schedule? Will try but not guaranteed.
- Locals accepted: Yes- no radius.
- Pending License accepted: No- must have active IL license to apply.
- RTO Restrictions: Ideally no more than 5 days.
- Guaranteed Hours: Client may call-off up to 36 hours per thirteen week assignment without paying for the cancelled hours.
- Special Requirements: Required Work Setting Experience: MS/Tele, Med/Surg.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in medical/surgical nursing.
- First-timers accepted: Yes - Want to see they have a solid foundation as an RN if they are new to travel.
- Shift: Nights (1845-0715)
- Average Daily Census: 23. 25 bed unit.
- Will work every other weekend
- Average Daily Census: 23. 25 bed unit.
- Required Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response Skills/Experience: Telemetry- remote monitoring, Use of Rapid Response Teams.
- Required Genitourinary/Renal Case Skills/Experience: Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Renal failure.
- Required IV therapy/Phlebotomy Skills/Experience: Blood Product Administration, Central line blood draw, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Starting IVs.
- Required Medication Skills/Experience: Heparin.
- Required Respiratory Case Skills/Experience: Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleur-evac, CPAP/BiPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Oral suctioning, Portable Oxygen tank.
- Required Professional Knowledge and Skills: Isolation Precautions, Wound Care/Wound Vac.
- Cerner experience required.
- Required based on unit/specialty. Must be AHA (RQI acceptable).
- Required if candidate is requesting a Religious Exemption from flu vaccine.
- Physical within a year of start, and updated annually.
- 9-Panel drug screen required within 30 days of start (instant acceptable).
