Job Description & Requirements

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - PACU - Perianesthesia MainShift: Nights / 7:30p-8a (12x3) 36 hours per week, Call and weekends based on needs
Length: 13 weeks
Requirements
- KY License
- 2 PACU experience
- 3 Critical Care and PACU experience, Ventilator management experience, Management of medication drips & Arterial line management, Lumbar drains & EVD drains, dysrhythmia identification
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIH
- Cerner is preferred but not required
- Transplant experience (kidney and pancreas) preferred
- Float Requirements: Stays within PACU
- EMR: Cerner- Surginet
- Scrub Color: Surgical Scrubs provided by hospital
- Patient Ratios: Based on ASPAN guidelines and acuity of patients. ICU 1:2, Med surg 2-3:1. Initial recovery period 1:1 during rotation of nursing staff. Holds at nighttime are based on the acuity of the patients
- Equipment: Ventilators, monitors, Alaris pump, 12 lead EKG machine (Phillips)
