Job Description & Requirements
- Specialty: Surgical Technologist
- Discipline: Allied Health Professional
- Start Date: 09/16/2024
- Duration: 13 weeks
- 36 hours per week
- Shift: 12 hours, days
- Employment Type: Travel
Travel OR Tech
- Prepare operating rooms for surgery.
- Sterilize equipment and make sure that there are adequate supplies for surgery.
- Ready patients for surgery, such as by washing and disinfecting incision sites.
- Help surgeons during surgery by passing them instruments and other sterile supplies when needed.
- Flexibility to travel to the assignment location.
- Availability to work the facility’s required schedule.
- Willingness to complete onboarding items in a timely manner.
- Ability to quickly adapt to new environments and strive for the highest quality of patient care.
- Also referred to as: surgical technician, surgical tech, OR technician, certified surgical tech, CST, NBSTSA tech.
- Job Requirements:
- 1 year of acute care experience in the operating room
- May require an active Surgical Technician license/certification
- BLS certification required
