Job Description: Responsibilities The Data Analyst IV will prepare health assessments of environmentally contaminated sites; compile, handle, and interpret environmental data; and execute and track public education and outreach activities. The incumbent will evaluate the effectiveness of outreach and health education activities, track and report on technical assistance and health education activities, perform informal and formal needs assessments and contribute to coordinating collaborative efforts with partner agencies and stakeholders. The incumbent will perform other appropriate related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field and two years of experience collecting and analyzing data; OR an Associate's degree in a related field and four years of such experience; OR six years of such experience. A Master's degree in a related field may substitute for one year of such experience.
Preferred Qualifications At least two years of experience with environmental data and programs. Experience with environmental remediation/hazardous waste site projects and investigation experience. Experience reviewing environmental data. Experience with GIS.
Conditions of Employment Grant funded position. Compliance with funding requirements such as time and effort reporting, grant deliverables, and contract deliverables, is required.
Valid and unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. is required. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Travel, up to 10% of the time, will be required.
This position requires that the incumbent will report to the official work location and live within commuting distance to the official work location. Telecommuting will be available.
