Job Description:
Responsibilities
The Technical Support Specialist II will provide technical support and assistance for the Uninsured Care Programs. Responsibilities will include resolution of technology issues; providing assistance to staff in the use of software; providing technical support services to staff/end users, including in the use of productivity software; coordinating technology procurement and equipment inventory; providing training on new applications, software and technologies; configuring new workstations; onboarding new staff; requesting additional rights on behalf of employee; granting access to files and folders on shared storage resources; managing user accounts; and other appropriate duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field and two years of experience providing technical support and assistance; OR an Associate's degree in a related field and four years of such experience; OR six years of such experience. A Master's degree in a related field may substitute for one year of experience.
Preferred Qualifications
At least six years of experience providing technology support in a health program. At least six years of experience managing technology procurement in a health program. At least six years of experience managing technology needs associated with new hires and office renovations/moves in a health program. Six years of experience ensuring compliance with ITS policies in a health program. At least six years of experience assisting with multimedia resources for meetings and events in a health program.
Conditions of Employment
Grant funded position. Compliance with funding requirements such as time and effort reporting, grant deliverables, and contract deliverables, is required.
Valid and unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. is required. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
This position requires that the incumbent will report to the official work location and live within commuting distance to the official work location. Telecommuting will not be available.
