A small critical access hospital nestled in Alaskas Inside Passage is seeing a medical technologist/medical laboratory technician (generalist) to work the day shift.
Sitka, the only city in southeastern Alaska that lies on the Pacific Ocean, is a beautiful seaside town with views of island-studded waters and stately spruce forests reaching to the waters edge. Surrounded by rainforest, Sitka has many incredible geographic features including Mount Edgecombe, a snow-covered dormant volcano.

Yearly Salary Range: $76,000-97,000
Job Summary:
Discover the presence or absence of disease and provide data that help physicians determine the best treatment for the patient. Specialty areas of laboratory medicine include clinical chemistry, hematology, transfusion services, clinical immunology, clinical microbiology, serology and the emerging field of molecular diagnostics.
