Healthcare Recruiters is looking for onsite Behavioral Health Inpatient Therapists: “Therapist I” (in-training license received), “Therapist I-SUD” and “Therapist II” (fully licensed), “Therapist II-SUD” in Oconomowoc, WI.

NOTE: Only Pool and evening shifts are available currently for inpatient therapists with rotating weekends (11a-7p in Oconomowoc or 2p-10:30p in West Allis).

Also need Licensed or Registered Art Therapists for several onsite openings in Oconomowoc, WI.

The organization is open to contract work for Licensed therapists and will pay for supervision for In-Training therapists.

Offering a $5K sign-on bonus for Therapist I (in-training) and $10K for Therapist II (fully licensed).

Our client is an established and respected Behavioral Health organization for Inpatient, Outpatient and Residential mental/behavioral health and SUD therapy in Milwaukee County.

Summary:

The Therapist develops, coordinates, and facilitates all direct social services to patients and their families assigned and performs duties as directed by their manager. The Therapist will work in an acute care setting that includes partial hospitalization and inpatient services.

Some Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide social services and cognitive behavioral therapies to patients and their families/significant others.
• Provide therapeutic treatment services/sessions to the individual, group, family and/or significant others.
• Provide crisis intervention services as needed and participate in psychoeducational support sessions with patient/family/significant others.
• Provide case management and therapeutic interventions to all assigned patients.
• Manage patient/family expectations related to services provided. Initiate and maintain contact with referring providers, school, if applicable, and care team for patients.
• Implement goals and interventions within the therapeutic component of the patient’s program.
• Ensure goals and interventions are patient specific and individualized according to patient diagnoses.

Education/Training Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in Social Work, or related field required.
• For Therapist I: Need In-training license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC-IT), Marriage and Family Therapist Training License(MFT- TL), Social Worker Training Certificate (SWTC), Advance Practice Social Work (APSW) or equivalent in WI.
• For Therapist II: fully licensed as an LPC, LMFT or LCSW in WI required.
• For Therapist I-SUD and Therapist II-SUD: A SAC-IT, SAC, or CSAC required in WI. A substance abuse specialty authorization applicable in WI is required.
• SAC-IT (SUD) certification is a bonus for Therapist I (in training) or Therapist II (fully licensed) positions.
• Counseling, or Family Therapy with experience in health care and in a psychiatric setting, preferred.
• Working knowledge of therapeutic intervention and techniques for all age groups, as well as the dynamics of human growth and behavior.
