LPN/RN Personal Care Nursing Supervisor

Permanent position - In office and intermittently in the field

Location: Largo, Florida

Healthcare Recruiters is hiring a Nursing Supervisor to manage a team of caregivers for a recognized personal care/homecare organization in the Florida area.

The L.P.N./R.N. Nursing Supervisor is responsible for maintaining quality healthcare standards and reports to the Director of Nursing.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· L.P.N./R.N. graduate from an approved school of nursing with a current license to practice in the state of Florida.

· Minimum two years’ experience in home health care or hospital/ S.N.F.

· Demonstrated communication and assessment skills.

· Supervisory experience preferred

· Effective verbal and written communication skills.

· Must have a valid Florida Driver’s License

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Initial assessment of new clients.

· Follow up, provision and supervision of care, and documentation of all activities.

· Supervision of field employees.

· Assist the Director of Nursing with Home Health Aide training.

· Set up medications in the patient’s home for self-administration by the client.

· Public relations activities as directed by the Administrator and/or the Director of Nursing.

· Assist with supervisory visits according to the protocol to ensure quality care and review and update the plan of care.

· Assure patient safety and confidentiality.

· Assist with maintenance of client records, with correct dates and signatures, and submit within required time limits.

· Actively participate with patient care as needed.

SALARY DEPENDENT ON EXPERIENCE

Salary from $57K to $60K
