#TH53465|TH-HHC-514 Job Title: Local Contract/Travel – Physical Therapist Number of positions: 1 Years of experience: One to three years Shift: Day shifts– 40 hours Duration: 13 weeks Start Date: 07/21/2024 Local Contract Hourly pay: $44.55 OT: 1.5 Weekly Pay: $1,60.63 Department: Physical Therapy - Home Care Shift Timings: 08:00 - 16:30 Hours Monday to Friday (5 days/8 Hours) Per Week: 40 Hours Would like if they have Home Care Home Base experience but not required. Responsibilities
Perform initial and on-going assessments of patient's condition.
Establish, revise and evaluate a plan of care which is appropriate to problems identified and involve the patient/family.
Perform therapy interventions utilizing standard physical therapy techniques and skills as appropriate for the condition of the patient.
Oversee activities of physical therapy assistants, students and other support personnel.
PT with SNF experience needed Some holidays and one weekend a month
Qualifications
BLS and ACLS
National Institutes of Health (NIH)
Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
The ability to stand for extended periods.
Strong technical skills.
Knowledge of medical terminology
Passionate about patient care
Requires a minimum of two years of current Physical Therapist experience.
Graduate from a fully accredited Physical Therapist program
Active unencumbered Iowa Physical Therapist state license
One year of Cerner experience
Requirements
