• Department: Medical/Surgical Neuro Stroke
• Shift Timing: Early Morning 06:30 - 19:00 Hours Monday to Friday

Roles & Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
• Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

Minimum Qualifications

• This department is a 28 unit, serving Neuro/Stroke unit, serving adult patients and does have telemetry capability.
• Nurse to patient ratio is 1:5-6.
• The unit is also supported by PCTs and a Healthcare unit coordinator.
• Utilization of virtual sitter monitoring is available as well as monitor techs to monitor those on telemetry.
• NIH is required.
• Required a minimum of 2 years of Experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

• BLS and ACLS
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Certified Principal Investigator (CPI) Certification
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• The ability to stand for extended periods.
• Strong technical skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Passionate about patient care
• Requires a minimum of two years of RN Med/Surg Neuro Stroke experience.
• Graduate from a fully accredited RN program
• Active unencumbered RN Oklahoma state license
• One year of Epic experience

• COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster.
