A clinic in southern New York, 1-hour from New York City, with an opening for a Nurse Practitioner to provide locum Primary Care coverage.

Opportunity Overview :

• Schedule : 9a-5p, 4 days per week
• No call required
• Daily Census : 16-17
• Patient Population : All ages
• EMR : Elation Health
• Must be able to work independently
• Board certification required

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Active unencumbered Nurse Practitioner New York state license
• Graduate from a fully accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• One year of work experience as Primary Care Nurse Practitioner
• One year of Epic experience
• Board Certified

• Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
• Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
• A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
• Effective interpersonal / communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
