• Assist licensed physical therapists in evaluating patient conditions, creating treatment plans, and tracking progress.
• Provide support in implementing therapeutic exercises, activities, and modalities according to established treatment plans.
• Observe and document patients' responses to treatments, noting progress and making necessary adjustments under the guidance of the supervising physical therapist.
• Assist patients with mobility exercises, transfers, and gait training to improve motor function and enhance physical well-being.
• Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for exercises and activities to be performed both in the clinic and at home.
• Administer modalities such as heat, cold, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation as directed by the physical therapist.
• Maintain a clean and organized treatment environment, ensuring all equipment is in proper working condition.
• Keep accurate and up-to-date patient records, treatment plans, and progress reports in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Collaborate with the physical therapy team to discuss patient progress, treatment adjustments, and potential challenges.
• Continuously seek opportunities for professional growth by staying updated with the latest trends and developments in physical therapy.

QUALIFICATIONS

• BLS and ACLS
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Certified Principal Investigator (CPI) Certification
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• The ability to stand for extended periods.
• Strong technical skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Passionate about patient care
• Requires a minimum of two years of current Physical Therapist experience.
• Graduate from a fully accredited Physical Therapy program
• Active unencumbered Physical Therapist Montana state license
• One year of Epic experience
