Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN)
HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) to fill an opening with one of the nation's largest managed care organizations. This is a primarily remote role with an in-office expectation once a quarter.
Daily Responsibilities for Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN):

• Assess members' clinical needs against established guidelines and standards to ensure services provided are medically appropriate and aligned with benefit structures.
• Facilitate responses to gaps in care and identify high-risk members, coordinating their care for annual wellness visits in collaboration with treating providers.
• Evaluate the necessity, appropriateness, and efficiency of medical services and procedures for both acute and chronic health care needs.
• Develop, coordinate, and assist in implementing individualized care plans for members, identifying barriers to self-management and optimal wellness.
• Coordinate with members, families, physicians, hospitals, and other external customers to ensure the appropriateness of care from diagnosis to outcome.
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective care supported by clinical practice guidelines established by the plan, addressing the entire continuum of care including transitional care.
• Monitor members' medical care activities and outcomes across all service sites for appropriateness and effectiveness.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned

Required Qualifications for Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN):

• High School Diploma/GED required
• Active Unrestricted RN License in the state of practice
• Must be an Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) through ONCC
• Three (3) years clinical experience as a Registered Nurse
• Working knowledge of operations of utilization, case and/or disease management processes
• Computer proficiency with MS Office Suite, Outlook, and internet applications

Pay Details: $77k - $102k/yr heavily dependent on experience and qualifications plus additional annual bonus
