Description
HTS is currently hiring an Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide care for home health patients residing in the counties of Johnson, Marion, Morgan and Shelby.
The Occupational Therapy Assistant in this position will provide treatments to these patients who are referrals from hospital with a wide range of diagnoses from orthopedic to deconditioning.
This is a part-time position, typically 15 hours per week, increasing or decreasing depending on caseload. We need an OTA more consistently available than PRN. Although the home health schedule is very flexible, weekday daytime availability is necessary.
Mileage reimbursed for travel between home health patients' homes.
Requirements
Applicants must have an active Indiana Occupational Therapy Assistant license or must have the necessary qualifications to earn Indiana license. These qualifications include a degree from an ACOTE-accredited occupational therapy assisting program, subsequent passing of the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT®) examination and fulfilling the state’s requirements for licensure.
Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States. Proof of eligibility will be required upon offer of employment.
