Description

HTS is now hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at a small (approximately 30-patient census) skilled nursing facility in Freelandville, IN, about 20 miles northeast of Vincennes. The facility has a therapy gym with modalities and offers inpatient and outpatient therapy (about 1-2 outpatients per month max).

This position requires up to 5 days/week of patient care for approximately 2-4 hours/day. This PTA will also be Lead Therapist for the facility, so will treat patients for a majority of the work hours while also performing Lead Therapist duties such as attending facility and team meetings, following up on therapy referrals, planning minutes and reporting any issues to Regional Director.

· Part-time position, typically 10-20 hours per week. 

· Very flexible schedule, primarily Monday – Friday.

· The Lead position allows a PTA to gain experience in leadership with a small team of therapists.

Requirements

Applicants must have an active Indiana Physical Therapist Assistant license or must have the necessary qualifications to earn Indiana license. These qualifications include graduation from a Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education-accredited physical therapist assistant education program, subsequent passing of a state-administered national exam, and fulfilling the state’s requirements for licensure.
Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States. Proof of eligibility will be required upon offer of employment.
