Healthcare Therapy Services is Hiring a Physical Therapist - Full Time Floater Near Rochester, IN

Description

HTS is hiring a Physical Therapist to join our therapy teams serving three senior living communities in Pulaski and Fulton counties, Indiana. This is a full-time floater position at 30 to 40 hours per week, primarily Monday to Friday. Scheduling can be very flexible and creative and is based on caseload and staffing needs at the assigned facilities. 

This is a unique opportunity to experience a variety of work environments, team dynamics and patient populations.

The Physical Therapist in this position will float between facilities, typically alternating two sites per day, with compensated drive time and mileage between those sites.

1. In Rochester (Fulton County): A small skilled nursing facility with a family atmosphere. Good volume of rehab to home and some psych diagnoses. A separate therapy area has mat table and parallel bars.

2. In Winamac (Pulaski County): A continuing care retirement community located next to the community hospital. A high volume of rehab to home and also outpatient opportunities from the new independent living residences. Nice therapy gym.

3. In Francesville (Pulaski): A continuing care retirement community is the “sister building” to the one in Winamac. This CCRC has a high volume of rehab to home along with outpatient from assisted living and independent living. Administration is very pro-therapy!

Requirements

Applicants must have an active [state] Physical Therapist license or must have the necessary qualifications to earn [state] license. These qualifications include earning an advanced degree from a Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education-accredited physical therapist education program, passing the state licensure exam, and fulfilling the state’s requirements for licensure.

Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States. Proof of eligibility will be required upon offer of employment.
