HSHS Medical Group has an opening to join our growing team of intensivists at HSHS St. John’s Hospital , a Level 1 Trauma Center in Springfield, Illinois.

Springfield is the State Capital and is a medium size safe community less than 3 hours from Chicago.

HSHS Medical Group is part of a large, financially strong Hospital Sisters Health System where Physician Leadership is widespread and encouraged.

Highlights of the opportunity are as follows :

• Work in a Level 1 Trauma Center
• 12-hour in-house shift-based schedule
• 146 shifts per year for full time
• Opportunity for additional shifts paid at a premium rate
• 45 bed ICU with excellent sub-specialty support
• 4 Rounders admitter w / average census of 10-12 pts / day
