Position Overview:
The Release Managerwill work withcross-functionalinternalteamstomanagechanges(softwarereleases/deployments)going into an environment,along with ensuring the stability of the environmentpost change.The ideal candidate willhave software implementation experience including configuringand managingenvironments for application migration. Thiswill includea solid understanding ofRelease, Change and EnvironmentManagement processes.This roleis additionally expected to mentorteam membersand streamline currentprocessesto align withHealthEdgeContinuous Improvement principles.Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus, but notrequired.This roleisremote.

The complete suite of solutions fromHealthEdgedelivers a digital foundation for payers specifically designed to fuel a digital transformation, reduce costs, and improve both clinical outcomes and the member experience.
Your impact:
Maintain deep understanding ofHealthEdge/Customer product ecosystem and its interdependenciesandleveragevarious tools available for environment management & stability
Streamline processeswith an eye on automationto foster continuous improvement
Manage and standardize programs to meet the clients release/deployment and quality criteriawith a focus onstandardization & repeatability in a continuous improvement environment
Builds consensus and leads decision making through nebulous problems
Ability to find solutions to challenges andmakeinformed recommendations.
Act as a gatekeeper, ensuring that all cross-functional teams sign off on the release before each promotion to production
Identify & manage risks and clearly communicate them to program/project stakeholders while proposing solutions
Effectively communicate required delivery dates, deployment pipelines, releases, and proposed enhanced processes to the delivery teams
Be involved in code deployments, database synchronization, and DevOps best practices
Streamline deployment practices for effective delivery to the client

Release Management:
Solid functional and technical experience with Release and Change Management processes, including configuring environments for application migration
The ability to effectively communicate and coordinate between multiple teams including Infrastructure, Support, On-Call, Development, QA, SMEs, architects, and business stakeholders as well as with client teams
A focus on a zero/minimum-error software delivery scenarios
Hands-on experience with hot fixes for software applications andtheability to seek alternatives in case of deploy/code failures
Knowledge of release management processes using current trends and tools in the industryincludingDevOpsandCI/CD
Environment Management
Experience working with client/customer teams and documenting environment changes for Releases/Deployments
Priorsoftware implementation experience including configuring environments for application migration
A working knowledge of Jenkins, configuration management database (CMDB), code packaging,Azure DevOps, Salesforce, ELK, Git Hub,AWS,and basic Unix commands
An in depth understanding of ITIL/ITSM practices and solutions development from the drawing board to production delivery, including experience with troubleshooting scenarios in production environments
