Healthly Medical is Hiring a Director of Practice Operations Near Riverside, CA

Role Description

The Director of Practice Operations is an important leadership role at Healthly. In this role, you will manage a cluster of nearby clinic locations in the Inland Empire, California, and will be responsible for Healthly’s operations in and around these clinics. You are expected to supervise clinical and non-clinical co-workers, support operational initiatives, and generally ensure that the clinics operate effectively to deliver an incredible experience for our patients. You will also contribute towards sharing best practices with Healthly’s network of independent primary care providers. Healthly owns two clinics in Riverside and Redlands, and plans to open more clinics.

Responsibilities

  • Supervising, coaching and mentoring a multi-disciplinary team of 15
  • Leading the execution of operational initiatives
  • Problem-solving team member and patient problems in the moment
  • Ensuring our patients are always delighted with the level of care they receive
  • Ensuring our front office, back office, and billing processes are executed efficiently
  • Oversee and execute on care management, population health and community building initiatives
  • Develop and implement operating policies and procedures, and drive continuous improvement opportunities
  • Lead training and onboarding of new employees
  • Being an ambassador in the local community - building relationships with other healthcare providers, social/ community organizations, insurance advisors and other partners
  • Supporting and contributing to on-the-ground marketing initiatives
  • Oversee and execute on new clinic openings
  • Solicit and review constructive feedback from patients, providers and other team members, and drive implementation of initiatives based on the feedback
  • Generally ensuring clinic operations are running smoothly on a daily basis

This role reports to the Chief Operating Officer and has opportunity for advancement.

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for motivated, experienced leaders with:

  • 4 or more years of experience in a supervisory role within a clinical setting
  • Bachelor degree
  • A passion for mentorship and team-development
  • A problem-solving orientation and eagerness to identify process gaps and implement practical solutions
  • A flexible and positive attitude
  • A proactive and adaptable working style- able to cover tasks as they arise
  • Impeccable judgment and maturity
  • A supportive attitude toward our patient population of older adults
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Fluency in Spanish

Job type: Full time

Compensation:

  • $70,000 to $90,000 depending on experience
  • Performance-based bonus
