This position is responsible for performing and analyzing complex medical laboratory tests and procedures which require the exercise of independent judgment with minimal supervision.
Work schedule: as needed, possible weekends, all shifts
Required: qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or related field
- Current certification as Medical Technologist (MT), Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS), or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) by the National Board of Registry American Society Clinical Pathology (ASCP). If not present at hire must have within one year of start date.
- Must have valid driver’s license and meet all criteria required under Lakeview’s Automobile Liability Guidelines.
- Knowledge and skills sufficient to provide technical instructions and communicate and advise other departments on clinical laboratory procedures.
Preferred qualification:
- 1-2 years’ experience
